Feel the beat and celebrate your rhythm at Newcastle Place for an interactive, fun and energizing intergenerational music class with Ms. Karen of Music Together North Shore.
Activities
Senior residents of Newcastle Place will join young children and their families to explore rhythm, pitch, movement and music in this creative session. The class will be high-energy, engaging and fun for all ages as it promotes a love of music across generations.
Impact
By coming together in this intergenerational music class, children will interact with community members they might not have otherwise met while singing and moving together. And, our senior friends will have the opportunity to socialize in a fun and engaging format that can help improve their mental health.
