Not everyone can be a foster family, but everyone can do something to impact kids and families involved in foster care. Fostering Community is hosting a special event in December to uplift foster families. We need your family’s help to create holiday cards filled with messages of love and support for the foster families and kids in attendance. We all know how challenging family life can be and words of support can make all the difference in knowing you aren’t alone.

Activities

Make homemade cards with whatever you have on hand, or buy cards and fill them with positive messages, silly seasonal jokes, and inspiration. Please leave the exterior envelopes blank.

Impact

Help foster families and the kids they are caring for feel supported and loved! Plus your kids will grow their awareness and capability to help others through uplifting words.

When & Where

Create these cards at your home or your group’s meeting place!

Drop off your finished cards or mail them in a larger envelope to Bayside by Sunday, December 8. (Address will be provided following registration.)

Participation Cap: 300 cards needed

Ages: All ages

Cost: The cost of a card or make your own!
