In order to make our MLK National Day of Service program a success, we need junior leaders ages 9+ to help!

JAN. 17 REGISTER

 Junior Leaders will assist with setting up the service project stations and prepping some of our crafts.

JAN. 19 REGISTER

Junior Program Volunteers will be assigned to work at stations throughout the event.

Activities will include:

    • – Welcome/Registration Table – Welcome and direct attendees; help families find their name tags
    • – Book Corner – Read with younger kids; help families pick out books; keep book corner tidy
    • – Winter Hygiene Kits – Manage bins of completed bags; ensure items are stocked; throw away extraneous packaging
    • – Snack Pack – Manage bins of completed bags; ensure items are stocked; throw away extraneous packaging   
    • – Cancer Care Kits – Instruct and assist kids as necessary
    • – Chain of Community – Instruct and assist kids as necessary
    • – Additional Project Stations – Instruct and assist kids as necessary

Impact

Kids will gain confidence, practice responsibility, and work collaboratively with others to solve problems as they grow their leadership skills.

Saturday, January 17 from 1-3 p.m.

Cancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand illness and emergencies do come up so if you can no longer participate, please email kitty@kicmke.org ASAP so we can fill your spot.
