In collaboration with the First Stage production of Go Dog Go! / Ve Perro ¡Ve!, KIC is hosting a book drive for Next Door Milwaukee and Bernie’s Book Bank.
Activities
Grab the family and raid your bookshelves for gently used books to donate! Maybe your little one has outgrown some of their board books, or your big kid is ready for chapter books and no longer needs those easy readers. All books can be dropped off at the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center lobby.
Additionally, consider joining KIC families for a special Go Dog Go! | Ve Perro ¡Ve! Book Party on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Noon. This interactive theater workshop invites kids to use their imaginations, move, play, and experience firsthand how a favorite book can leap from the page to the stage. Then, catch the show before or after the party!
Impact
Through book donations and bringing a beloved story to life, children will discover that books can move, connect, inspire, and bring joy while helping children in our community experience the magic of having books of their own.

There is a parking lot with limited spots right in front of MYAC. Street parking is also available nearby.
