Have a cherished experience with your children and grandfriends from Hamilton House Senior Living in a true intergenerational fashion. This is a great chance for your little one(s) to get out and meet new kids and brighten the day of seniors.

Activities 

Our playgroup will provide an opportunity to children, parents, and assisted living residents to interact and play with each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. We will open with a hello song to break the ice and introduce ourselves to the group. During the playgroup time, they will have a blast creating something that will help support a shared cause.

Impact

Intergenerational playgroups give children a true intergenerational experience while learning patience, kindness, and how to make new friends. Children will develop awareness of and relationships with members of the community they would otherwise not meet.

Our friends at Hamilton House benefit tremendously from the interaction with our children. Residents in the memory care unit of Hamilton House will have a chance to be around our energetic and humorous littles and offer their love and gentle care for them.

Participant Cap: 5 families

Ages: All ages welcome!

Cost: This group is free to attend, but you’re welcome to make a donation to support this and future KIC service projects.

Cancelations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand illness and emergencies do come up so if you can no longer participate, please email sara@kicmke.org ASAP so we can fill your spot.

Our Partner

Hamilton House is a beautiful residential community in the heart of Cedarburg directly across from the local middle school. They provide apartments designed for independent and assisted living, as well as memory care options. We are partnering specifically with the residents in the memory care unit.
