Many families have unfortunately been affected by cancer in one way or another. KIC families have the opportunity to provide some light to community members going through cancer treatments. Join KIC at Little Sprouts for an afternoon of kindness and playtime! We will create care cards, decorate notebooks, and pack care packages for patients at Aurora Healthcare Cancer Clinics throughout Milwaukee.
Activities
Families will listen to an age-appropriate book about kindness and then work together to pack care packages, create cards, and decorate notebook covers to go with them. Once children finish (or need a break), they can enjoy the play space of Little Sprouts Play Cafe.
Impact
Kids will get to use their unique talents to bring cheer to patients in Aurora Healthcare Cancer Clinics. Patients at Aurora Healthcare will be provided with some basic necessities and the knowledge that they aren’t alone.
