Sketchbook Creations for Cancer Care Kits

REGISTER HERE

Discover how to use creativity as a superpower to uplift others! In partnership with the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA), KIC families will use their artistic talents to decorate an inspiring sketchbook to include in cancer care packages that will be created by KIC families in late February.

Activities

Families will drop into the Second Saturday: Artistic Acts of Kindness event at the MOWA and use their creative talents to create personal sketchbooks for patients in Aurora Healthcare Cancer Clinics. Families will use the materials provided to design an uplifting and cheerful image. Be sure to explore the museum and enjoy gallery activities with your kiddos while there!

Impact

These sketchbooks created by the children will hopefully provide some light to community members receiving cancer treatments – demonstrating that they are loved and not alone.
