Help our community’s kids start the upcoming school year off strong with a fresh set of new school supplies. Our Next Generation (ONG) supports thousands of students in the heart of one of Milwaukee’s most challenged communities, through academic tutoring, enrichment programs and social support, with tangible results: better grades, higher high-school graduation rates, improved self-esteem, and positive attitudes toward the future.
Activities
Children and caregivers will shop for school supplies together. Tag it onto your own family’s back to school shopping list! Shop from the list of school supplies that will be provided in your registration confirmation email. The determination of cost is up to you and what you are able to purchase!
Impact
Children who attend Our Next Generation will feel the excitement and readiness to learn with their new school supplies. Children from KIC will learn how they have the ability to spread love by supporting kids their own age.
When & Where
Deliver school supplies in person at ONG on Wednesday, August 12 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
After delivering the school supplies, we will have the opportunity to enjoy summer with kids at ONG. Together, we’ll have ice cream sandwiches, play on the playground, meet the goats cared for by ONG kids, and make new friends!
Not able to make it? We still need your family’s help! Drop off school supplies July 24 – August 12 at a KIC Leader home in Bayside, Grafton, Lannon, Shorewood, Waukesha. Addresses will be supplied after registration. We will deliver all supplies at the ice cream social.

Registration Information
Participant Cap: Participation in collecting supplies is limitless! In-person drop off and ice cream social participation limited to 20 volunteers.

Materials: Please shop from the list of school supplies provided in your registration confirmation email.

Cancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand things do come up so if you can no longer participate, please email lizzy@kicmke.org ASAP.
