Join us in preparing and serving breakfast to people in need at Hope Center in downtown Waukesha.

Activities

Our volunteer group of children and caregivers will prepare and serve breakfast to approximately 60 guests at Waukesha’s Hope Center. Kids Impact Community will be bringing food to prepare on-site. Your family can sign up to bring needed ingredients. There is a kitchen at the center where we will prepare the meal. Following the meal, we will clean up, ending around 10 a.m.

Impact

Kids and their caregivers will serve a delicious breakfast filling bellies and brightening the morning of people in need. Kids will see that serving others can be fun and that they are capable of making a difference.

There is a free parking lot at Hope Center.

Registration Information

Participants: 8-10 volunteers

Ages: Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all ages are welcome!

Cost: Free. If you are able to contribute an ingredient to our meal, details will be sent out in the confirmation email upon registration.

Materials: Gloves and hairnets will be provided. Feel free to bring an apron if you’d like (optional).

Cancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand illness and emergencies do come up, so if you can no longer participate, please email joanna@kicmke.org. ASAP so we can fill your spot.

Our Partner

The Hope Center is a non-profit organization that has been assisting Waukesha County residents with basic needs for more than thirty years. Hope Center guests include those living with housing insecurity, families trying to stretch their budget, and older adults living on a fixed income.
