Clean out that old dance bag filled to the brim with dance shoes that are too small! We will be donating any type of dance shoe to the Creator Collaborative, a local children’s theater here in Whitefish Bay.

Activities

Drop your used dance shoes off in KIC boxes located throughout the Milwaukee area. Please put matching shoes in a plastic bag and write the size and type of shoe on the bag. We will have markers and bags at the box locations.

Impact

A lot of kids at Creator Collaborative do not have dance shoes to wear to class. Having these shoes will ensure kids don’t hurt themselves on the dance floor. KIC families will feel good passing on their used shoes to kids who need them.

When & Where

Drop off between October 1-18

Boxes will be found at Fresh Coast, Creator Collaborative, and local houses in Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs. Addresses will be given once registrations are completed.

Junior Leaders Program

This is a Junior Leaders Program project! KIC invites more youth leaders (ages 9-14) to create service opportunities to engage their peers and work on solutions in the community. The Junior Leader will participate in the planning, development, and execution with an experienced KIC adult leader-mentor. Learn more about the program on our website.
