St. Francis Children’s Center states that “All children can learn, if we can learn to teach them.” Approximately 15% of public school students in the U.S. receive special education services. And, having people with all kinds of abilities makes the world a more interesting place!

This month, St. Francis Children’s Center is hosting a Spring Egg Hunt for families of children with special, medical or support needs and their families in coordination with Autism United of Wisconsin and The Parenting Network. Activities will also include egg painting, a bunny sack race, bunny bowling, snacks and more.

They need our help to stuff the eggs and pack the treat bags for the kids!

Activities

We’ll kick off our morning reading a book about all-abilities while helping answer questions that even our littlest kids may have.

Then, we’ll roll up our sleeves to stuff treat bags and eggs. It’s a powerful way to learn, connect, and give back! After we finish, the kids will have a chance to play in the Family Activity Center until it’s time to go.

Impact

Families will experience the joy of volunteering together as the kids learn how they can help children of all abilities enjoy a special event!
