Join KIC for an all-abilities Open Gym with The Ability Center (TAC) at the Whitman Middle School in Wauwatosa! Activities will include wheelchair basketball, seated volleyball, and/or goal ball with blindfolds. It will be fun for the whole family!

Activities

Attendees are invited to try something new and play in a “different pair of shoes.” All equipment is provided by TAC to engage in wheelchair sports and other adaptive games.

KIC volunteers will help set up and take down Open Gym equipment and PLAY 🙂 Volunteers are needed to help bring the sports equipment and wheelchairs into the gym from the TAC trailer. Stay to play and then help get everything back into the trailer at the end of the program.

Impact

Open Gym provides an unmatched opportunity of inclusion for people of all ages and abilities to play together. Events provide a safe, non-competitive environment where TAC ensures everyBODY feels welcomed, wanted, and comfortable.
