Kids Impact Community has hosted intergenerational playgroups since the organization’s inception. You and your children will bring smiles to the residents of Eastcastle Place by sharing books, lemonade, and connection in a relaxed outdoor setting.
We look forward to sharing a fun and memorable morning together!
Activities
Your family will be reading with residents and serving lemonade and cookies on the lawn by the gazebo. The space is fenced in and the kids are welcome to run around between reading stories with their new grandfriends.
Impact
Connecting and engaging with adults from other generations boosts the social and emotional health for everyone involved by fostering empathy in children, reducing isolation in seniors, and strengthening a sense of belonging, purpose, and community spirit.
