Hosted by our partner The Ability Center (TAC), RAMP Up Milwaukee is a planned outdoor community gathering dedicated to showing our community the wonderful assortment of all-accessible wheels available for public use at the Lakefront. Join us for inclusive sailing, adaptive yard games, a grill out, music by DJ Shawna, water safety lessons from the Red Cross, and more!

Activities

TAC  is looking for four families to assist with the set-up of the event starting at 9:30 a.m. Then we will assign various jobs to support the event from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This will include leading games and engaging with community members. We ask that families assist with clean up towards the end of the event.

Impact

Kids will get to use their time and love to support our partner organization TAC and make a positive difference in the lives of Milwaukee citizens of all abilities while having the opportunity to have fun at the RAMP Up EveryBODY Sails outing.

Registration Information

Participant Cap: 4 families

Age: All ages.

Cost: Free

Materials: Please wear weather-appropriate, comfortable shoes and clothes.

Cancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However, we understand illness and emergencies do come up so if you can no longer participate, please email lynn@kicmke.org ASAP so we can fill your spot.
