Join us for an immersive experience at Friendship Circle, where art meets baking and where friendships are made! This class welcomes both neurotypical and neurodiverse children.

Activities

Participants will create and share treats and art as “pick-me-ups” for a peer at home! They’ll also be able to keep one for themselves.  To provide an age-appropriate experience for all, we divide the class into two groups (about nine kids in each group). Each group gets to spend half their time in the art studio (working on their art project) and the other half in the bakery (working on their baking project). Additionally, we include inclusive experiences to foster understanding and exposure to disabilities, with the support of teen volunteers throughout.

Impact

Participants will create friendships while participating in inclusive service activities that value all individuals regardless of the challenges they face.
