We will be spreading the love before Valentine’s Day at Newcastle Place Senior Living in Mequon. Anne Earnheart, a local mom and music teacher, will be leading the charge! Kids and their families will sing songs and read poems.

Activities

We invite all families attending to make four Valentine’s Day cards at home to bring to the event and distribute to our grandfriends!

When you arrive, we will gather and practice a few songs and poems to perform. Anne will then lead families (and residents) in a fun Valentine’s-themed sing-a-long.

After the sing-a-long, we will distribute the Valentine’s and share some festive cookies and hot cocoa.

Impact

Kids and families will make new grandfriends and learn some fun songs while learning how to feel more comfortable interacting with older adults.

*We will meet to quickly learn the songs at 1:30 p.m., and the Sing-A-Long will begin at 2 p.m.

Cost: Free

Materials: 50 completed Valentine’s Day Cards needed
