Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge fosters a community of compassion and friendship by providing basic necessities such as clothing and hygiene products to the homeless, those who need support, and the surrounding Milwaukee community. They will be hosting a 5k run and a 2-mile walk for their 1st Miles for Mr. Bob’s along the Menomonee River Parkway to help support their organization.

Activities

You and your child will be assigned a volunteer spot for the 5K/Fun Run by Mr. Bob’s volunteer coordinator, Kim. Volunteer needs include out-on-the-run courses, street crossings, and water stations.

Purpose

Provide race logistical support for our partner organization as they raise money to provide support to community members living without a consistent place to call home.

Impact

Kids will have the opportunity to be a cheerleader and support others in our community who are running this race to support Mr. Bob’s Under the Bridge.

Sunday, Oct. 15 from 8:15-10:15 a.m.

Volunteers will be provided with the cell phone number of Kim (volunteer coordinator).

Registration Information

Age: All ages are welcome

Participant Cap: 3-4 families or 12 volunteers

Cost: Free

Attire: Please dress casually. Wear your Kids Impact Community shirt if you have one.
