Not everyone can be a foster family, but everyone can do something to impact kids and families involved in foster care. Fostering Community is hosting a Back To School Bash in August supplying backpacks, school supplies, and some inspiration.

Activities

Make homemade cards with whatever you have on hand, and fill them with positive messages, silly jokes, and inspiration. These notes will encourage kids entering new schools and facing new experiencs in the coming year. No envelopes necessary. 

Impact

Help kids in foster care prepare for the upcoming school year with a positive attitude! Your kids will grow awareness in their capability to help others through uplifting words.

When & Where

Mail completed cards directly to Fostering Community by Wednesday, August 5. Cards will be distributed at their Back to School Bash on August 8th.

Participant Cap: 300 cards needed

Age: All ages

Cost: The cost of a card or make your own!
