Senior Yard Spring Clean Up

We will help elderly homeowners slide into summer by assisting with yard work. In addition, our children will get the opportunity to see the results of their efforts. (Enjoying the beautiful spring weather and allowing the kids to burn off extra energy will be a bonus, as well!) Gardening for Good – Hoop Houses

Join Kids Impact Community to help Groundwork Milwaukee prepare their gardens at the urban farm hoop houses in Glendale! Volunteers will cultivate, plant, water, and harvest fresh produce such as tomatoes, zucchini, beans, and kale that will be provided to shoppers at the Riverwest Food Pantry! Groundwork Milwaukee collaborates with Riverwest Food Pantry to provide just food systems in the Milwaukee area! Summer Panera Bread Doughnation and Delivery

KIC is partnering with Panera-Glendale with their End of Day Dough-nation Program. KIC families will reclaim surplus baked goods from Panera to distribute to community members living with food insecurity. Milwaukee Diaper Mission

Milwaukee Diaper Mission, in collaboration with their partner organizations, empowers families in need by providing a reliable source of free diapers and period products.  Since its founding in September, 2020, the MDM has distributed an average of 18,000 diapers and 10,000 period products per month.  KIC families will count and package diapers to be distributed throughout the Milwaukee community.
