SUMMARY:Women's Center Dinner Service with Community Advocates
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJoin us in preparing and serving a hot dinner to
  women and their children (about 50-70 total) staying at the Women’s Cen
 ter Shelter.\nActivities\nOur volunteer group of children and caregivers w
 ill serve dinner to about 55 women and their children staying at the shelt
 er. KIC will be bringing food to prepare on-site. You can sign up to bring
  ingredients that are needed. There is a kitchen at the center where we wi
 ll prep the meal service. Then we will serve dinner to the women and their
  children. Following the meal\, we will clean up.\nImpact\nKids and their 
 caregivers will brighten the evening of families staying at the shelter. K
 ids will see that serving others can be fun and that they are capable of m
 aking a difference.\nWhen &amp\; Where\nThursday\, Dec. 17 from 5-7 p.m. (
 Dinner service begins at 6 p.m.)\n\nMilwaukee Women’s Center Shelter of 
 Community Advocates is in the Burnham Park Neighborhood (for the safety of
  the residents\, addresses will be provided after sign-up).\nRegistration 
 Information\nParticipant Cap: 6 volunteers\n\nAge: All ages are welcome to
  help!\n\nCost: Free\n\nMaterials: Please wear comfortable clothes and clo
 sed-toed shoes. Plastic gloves and hairnets will be provided upon arrival.

 me to life. However\, we understand illness and emergencies do come up so

 we can fill your spot.\n\nOur Partner\n\n\n\nFounded in 1980\, the Milwauk
 ee Women’s Center became a division of Community Advocates in 2007. It i
 s a place of transition with 75 beds and provides comprehensive services a
 nd treatment for women\, men\, and children whose lives have been affected
  by domestic violence\, addiction\, mental health issues\, homelessness\,
