SUMMARY:Women's Center Dinner Service
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJoin us in preparing and serving a hot dinner to
  women and their children (about 50-70 total) staying at the Women’s Cen
 ter Shelter. Founded in 1980\, the Milwaukee Women’s Center provides com
 prehensive services and treatment for women\, men\, and children whose liv
 es have been affected by domestic violence\, addiction\, mental health iss
 ues\, homelessness\, and poverty.\nActivities\nOur volunteer group of chil
 dren and caregivers will serve dinner to about 50 women and their children
  staying at the shelter. KIC will be bringing food to prepare on-site. You
  can sign up to bring ingredients that are needed. There is a kitchen at t
 he center where we will prep the meal service. Then we will serve dinner t
 o the women and their children. Following the meal\, we will clean up\, en
 ding promptly at 7 p.m.\nImpact\nKids and their caregivers will brighten t
 he evening of families staying at the shelter. Kids will see that serving 
 others can be fun and that they are capable of making a difference.\nWhen 
 &amp\; Where\nSunday\, Sept. 21 from 5:15-7 p.m.\n\nDinner service begins 
 at 6 p.m.\n\nMilwaukee Women’s Center Shelter of Community Advocates is 
 in the Burnham Park Neighborhood (for the safety of the residents\, addres
 ses will be provided after sign-up).\nRegistration Information\nParticipan
 t Cap: 6 volunteers\n\nAge: All ages are welcome to help!\n\nCost: Free\n\
 nMaterials: Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Plastic
  gloves and hairnets will be provided upon arrival.\n\nQuestions: Email ka
