DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nKids Impact Community (KIC) invites you to colle
 ct food donations to help Kinship Community Food Center provide families w
 ith items to prepare their own traditional Thanksgiving meals.\n\nKinship 
 Community Food Center engages volunteers and neighborhood residents to end
  hunger\, isolation\, and poverty. This year\, Kinship is focused on helpi
 ng their frequent community members have both the supplies and the knowled
 ge to cook their own healthy\, traditional Thanksgiving meals. We are aski
 ng families to collect/contribute items that can be used in either sweet o
 r savory baking (or a combination of both!)\nActivities\nYour children\, a
 long with an adult\, can visit houses in your neighborhood to ask for dona
 tions to help collect food for families to cook their own Thanksgiving mea
 l. Families may also choose to simply donate on their own without going do
 or-to-door. Once you register\, we will follow up with a detailed email th
 at will include important dates\, specific dropoff locations\, a list of w
 hat food items to collect\, and prepared documents to help set your childr
 en up for success.\nPurpose\nOur hope is that this event will be led by yo
 ur children! We wish to give your children the opportunity to feel directl
 y capable of making change in our community. They will have the chance to 
 learn about food insecurity and how they have the power to help fight it.\
 nImpact\nThat your children will learn that even though they are small\, t
 hey can make a big impact on others\, and have fun doing it! \nWhen &amp\
 ; Where\nYou will have from Nov. 1 until Nov. 18 to collect and drop off a
 ll donations at one of the designated collection sites located in these ar
