SUMMARY:Tend the Earth: Garden and Craft with Journey House
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nSpring is the season to prepare our gardens and 
 celebrate new growth as the earth awakens from winter. Cleaning\, preparin
 g\, planting\, and tending to a garden helps children learn to care for ou
 r earth\, the role of growing your own food for nourishment\, and the long
 -term responsibility that comes with garden maintenance.\n\nActivities\nKi
 ds from KIC and students at Journey House will work together to clean\, pr
 epare\, and plant flowers or vegetables in Journey House’s on-site garde
 n beds. Youth at Journey House will continue to tend to these gardens in t
 he coming months as they watch beautiful flowers and vegetables grow!\n\nC
 ome ready to get your hands dirty! After garden work is done\, there will 
 be an earth-friendly craft using recycled material that everyone can take 
 home.\nImpact\nKids will experience how capable their hands are in helping
  to take care of the earth. They will share and connect with new friends\,
  working together to make a positive impact on the community.\nWhen &amp\;

 .\, Milwaukee\, WI 53204\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipants: 25 vo
 lunteers\nAges: All ages\nCost: Free\nMaterials:\n\n\n 	\n\n 	- Dress for 
 the weather! Wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.\n 	- Garden 
 gloves if you have them\n 	- Any shovels\, trowels\, or garden tools for k
 ids to use for the day (you will take them back home with you). \n\n\n\nQ

 llations: We count on our registered volunteers to make these projects com
 e to life. However\, we understand illness and emergencies do come up. If
