SUMMARY:Spring Yard Clean Up for Seniors 2026
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nThe Eras Senior Network is asking for help from 
 KIC volunteers this spring! This will be our 11th year participating in th
 eir yard clean-up event.\n\nActivities\nThey need volunteers to help with 
 cleaning up after the winter - raking leaves\, cleaning flower beds\, trim
 ming bushes\, etc. This can be a project for you as an individual or a gro
 up! Do it on your own or gather your friends and family to make a differen
 ce in the lives of local seniors.\nWe understand the attention of each chi
 ld is different\, so rest breaks are encouraged to make this meaningful AN
 D fun! It is a one-time visit and would not need to be done on a specific 
 day but whenever is convenient for you and the client. You are welcome to 
 wait for a warmer\, dryer day in the future\, which will hopefully be at t
 he end of April/early May.\nWe will connect you with a senior resident\, a
 nd you will communicate with them on when works for you to visit.\n\nImpac
 t\nYour children will get the opportunity to see the results of their effo
 rts in these seniors' lives. (Enjoying the beautiful spring weather and al
 lowing the kids to burn off extra energy will be a bonus\, as well!) We ho
 pe that all of the children participating will see that hard work pays off
  and that they too can have an impact on the lives of Milwaukee’s most v
 ulnerable.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nExact addresses in Milwaukee County will 
 be given once registration is complete for the sake of confidentiality. We
  will make every attempt to assign you a home close to your residence. We 
 will give you a phone number to directly contact the homeowner before your
  visit.\nIf you would like to partner with another KIC family on your assi
 gned "grandfriends" home\, please indicate the KIC partner family's name i
 n the registration.\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: 20 famil
 ies (for 20 homes). You may sign up for one or two homes/yards.\nAge: All 
 are welcome to help however they can.\nCost: Free\nMaterials: Please bring
  yard tools such as gloves\, rakes\, bags\, tarps\, hedge trimmers\, or a 
 leaf blower (if you have them) for yourself and your children.\nQuestions:
