DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nThe Eras Senior Network is asking for help from 
 KIC volunteers this spring! This will be our 9th year participating in the
 ir yard clean-up event.\n\nActivities\nThey need volunteers to help with c
 leaning up after the winter - raking leaves\, cleaning flower beds\, trimm
 ing bushes\, etc. This can be a project for you as an individual or a grou
 p! Do it on your own or gather your friends and family to make a differenc
 e in the lives of local seniors.\nWe understand the attention of each chil
 d is different - so rest breaks are encouraged to make this meaningful AND
  fun! It is a one-time visit and would not need to be done on a specific d
 ay but whenever is convenient for you and the client. You are welcome to w
 ait for a warmer\, dryer day in the future - which will hopefully be the e
 nd of April/early May.\nWe will connect you with a senior resident and you
  will communicate with them on when works for you to visit.\n\nImpact\nYou
 r children will get the opportunity to see the results of their efforts in
  these seniors' lives. (Enjoying the beautiful spring weather and allowing
  the kids to burn off extra energy will be a bonus\, as well!) We hope tha
 t all of the children participating will see that hard work pays off and t
 hat they too can have an impact on the lives of Milwaukee’s most vulnera
 ble.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nExact addresses in Milwaukee County will be giv
 en once registration is complete for the sake of confidentiality. We will 
 make every attempt to assign you a home close to your residence. We will g
 ive you a phone number to directly contact the homeowner before your visit
 .\nIf you would like to partner with another KIC family on your assigned "
 grandfriends" home\, please indicate the KIC partner family's name in the 
 registration.\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: 20 families (f
 or 20 homes). You may sign up for one or two homes/yards.\nAge: All are we
 lcome to help however they can.\nCost: Free\nMaterials: Please bring yard 
 tools such as gloves\, rakes\, bags\, tarps\, hedge trimmers\, or a leaf b
 lower (if you have them) for yourself and your children.\nQuestions: Pleas

 to confirm registration and homeowner contact information before the event
