SUMMARY:Social Justice Story Time: Celebrating MLK Day! (age 0-5)
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\n\nJoin KIC and the North Shore Library for a Soc
 ial Justice Story Time with Rona Wolfe\, a kindergarten teacher experience
 d in discussing big ideas. Through stories\, our kids will meet Martin Lut
 her King Jr. They will be empowered to understand and celebrate our differ
 ences while recognizing the similarities and connections we all share.\nRo
 na Kader Wolfe has been a kindergarten teacher and anti-bias educator for 
 30 years. She is currently working at the UW-Milwaukee Children’s Learni
 ng Center as the Administrative Specialist in Anti-Bias/Social Justice Edu
 cation. She earned her bachelor’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Educ
 ation from UW-Milwaukee\, where she is also working towards a master’s d
 egree in Community Engagement and Education. Rona has served both Milwauke
 e’s Indigenous community and its Jewish community as a kindergarten teac
 her at the Indian Community School and Milwaukee Jewish Day School.\n\nAct
 ivities\nRona will lead kid-friendly discussions about race and racial jus
 tice and address how kids can take big actions in small ways. Towards the 
 end of our story time\, we will engage the kids in a special on-the-spot s
 ervice project craft. The agenda will look like so:\n\n\n 	\n\n 	Listen to
  three books\n 	Movement break\n 	Thoughtful kid-friendly discussion\n 	On
 -the-Spot Service project craft\n\n\n\n\n 	\n\nImpact\nTo celebrate the le
 gacy of Martin Luther King\, Jr. and help our children build a world where
  all people are treated with kindness and respect.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nM
