DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW\nWork with your child at the Kinship Community Foo
 d Center (formerly called Riverwest Food Pantry) – an organization focus
 ed on coming together around food to relieve hunger\, improve lives\, and 
 grow community well-being. While their name has changed\, their mission is
  still the same! Kinship empowers residents to create nourishment\, belong
 ing\, and prosperity in low-income communities through the power of food.\
 nActivities\nYou and your child will assist shoppers with registration and
  grocery selection\, help shoppers carry bags\, serve snacks\, share food 
 with shoppers\, and clean up. Hands-on orientation and assignments are giv
 en upon arrival.\nWe will also be collecting reusable bags to donate to th
 e pantry. Their goal is to eliminate as many plastic shopping bags as poss
 ible. If you have extra reusable bags at home\, please consider bringing s
 ome with you to donate!\n\nImpact\nHelp to eliminate food insecurity in Mi
 lwaukee and dissolve barriers of division as the community comes together 
 at a common table. Your child will be immersed in an environment where the
 y will experience their capabilities to help others and also be mentored i
 n acts of dignity and grace by those very same people. Kinship Community F
 ood Center embodies its motto: In a community of generosity everyone gives
  and everyone receives!\nWhen &amp\; Where\nTuesday\, June 18 from 3:30-6 
 p.m.\nSt. Casimir’s Parish Hall\n924 E. Clarke St.\nThe hall is located 
 on the basement level of the school building behind Our Lady of Divine Pro
 vidence Parish/St. Casimir. Volunteer entrance doors are on the west side 
 of the building in the alley between the church and the school. On Tuesday
  afternoons we ask that volunteers find street parking (on Clarke or Weil)
  as the lot is reserved for shoppers.\n\nRegistration Information\nPartici
 pant Cap: 10 volunteers\n\nAge: 6 years and older\n\nAttire: Please dress 
 casually with closed-toe shoes and keep all your valuables at home. Wear y
 our Kids Impact Community shirt if you have one.\n\nCost: Free. Kinship C
 ommunity Food Center does accept non-perishable food donations if your fam
 ily would like to bring something to donate.\n\nQuestions: Reach out to Li

  our registered volunteers to make these projects come to life. However\, 
 we understand illness and emergencies do come up so if you can no longer p
