DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nChildren will participate in a community service
  event through the Stone Soup Project\, helping serve dinner to individual
 s and families facing food insecurity.\nBy directly participating in meal 
 service\, children learn the importance of helping others with dignity and
  kindness while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges many peop
 le face in accessing reliable meals.\n\nActivities \nUnder adult supervis
 ion\, children will assist with age-appropriate tasks such as greeting gue
 sts\, serving meals\, distributing beverages or desserts\, setting  up ta
 bles and chairs\, and helping create a warm\, welcoming environment.\n\nIm
 pact\nServing dinner to individuals facing food insecurity through the Sto
 ne Soup Project creates a meaningful opportunity for children to develop e
 mpathy\, compassion\, and a stronger sense of community responsibility.\nT
 heir involvement will foster values of generosity\, gratitude\, and servic
 e\, while also helping build confidence and teamwork skills. Beyond provid
 ing nourishment\, the experience will contribute to creating a welcoming a
 nd respectful environment for guests\, reinforcing the idea that small act
 s of service can make a significant difference in the lives of others.\n\n

 et\, Waukesha\, WI\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: 2 familie
 s (total of 4 people)\nAge: 10 or older (or must be able to serve food int
 o to-go container\, assist with setting up/taking down tables and chairs)\
 nCost: Free\nWear: This meal service is outside in a parking lot. You will
  be exposed to the elements so please dress accordingly (hat\, sunscreen\,
  water to drink).\nQuestions: Email brianna@kicmke.org with any specific q
 uestions.\nCancellations: We count on our registered volunteers to make th
 ese projects come to life. However\, we understand illness and emergencies
  do come up so if you can no longer participate\, please email brianna@kic
 mke.org  ASAP so we can fill your spot.\n\nOur Partner\nThe Stone Soup Pr
 oject is a community-based meal program in Waukesha\, Wisconsin\, dedicate
 d to ensuring that no neighbor goes hungry. What began as one person deliv
 ering meals to individuals in need has grown into a collaborative effort t
 hat provides hot\, home-style meals to anyone who is hungry. Meals are ser
 ved three days a week—Tuesday\, Wednesday\, and Thursday at 4 p.m.—fro
 m a central distribution site at 409 E. Main Street. The program is powere
 d by volunteers and community donations\, bringing people together in the
