SUMMARY:School's Out Food and Hygiene Drive
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nMy name is Zoe and I am 11-years-old. KIC and Ki
nship Community Food Center need our help! When school is out\, kids need
to eat lunch at home. Kinship needs non-perishable lunch items to help peo
ple do this. Also\, the last time I dropped items off at Kinship\, one of
the workers told me they need hygiene supplies for their people.\n\nActivi
ties\nKids will help provide food and hygiene supplies to those who cannot
afford it themselves.\n\n\n \n\n - Food items needed: Canned soups\, br
 oths\, canned fruit\, whole grains\, cooking oil\, canned tuna/chicken\, p
 eanut butter\, jelly.\n - Hygiene supplies needed: Shampoo\, toothpaste\,
  soaps\, toothbrushes\, period products.\n\n\n\nFamilies will collect and/
or donate these items and then take them to a local dropoff location to be
brought to Kinship.\n\nImpact\nKids will learn that they are able to help
others. Those who rely on Kinship will benefit from having more supplies.
\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nThe collection will take place during the entire mo
nth of June. Dropoff location addresses will be sent after registration bu
t are located in Franklin\, Glendale\, Shorewood\, and Whitefish Bay. Item
s will be taken to Kinship on July 1.\n\nRegistration Information\nPartici
pant Cap: 200+\nAge: All are welcome to help however they can.\nCost: It i
s your choice how much to spend on the items.\nQuestions: Contact Junior L
eader Zoe at juniorleader@gmail.com with any questions.\n\nOur Partner\nLe
arn more about Kinship Community Food Center at kinshipmke.org.\n\nJunior
Leader Program\nKIC invites more youth leaders (ages 9-14) to create servi
ce opportunities to engage their peers and work on solutions in the commun
ity. If you know of a motivated youth who has an idea to make a positive c
ontribution to our community\, please have them learn more and complete a
 Junior Leader application.
