SUMMARY:Pumpkin & Play Intergenerational Craft Hour
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nOur Hamilton House playgroup provides an opportu
 nity for children\, parents\, and assisted living residents to interact an
 d play with each other in a relaxed\, friendly\, playful\, organized envir
 onment.\n\nActivities\nAll participants in this group will get to use thei
 r unique talents to decorate pumpkin themed crafts.\n\nDuring the playgrou
 p time\, we will open with a hello song to break the ice and introduce our
 selves to the group. We will then have craft time where we will spend time
  together getting creative. At the end of our time together we will sing o
 ur clean up song to tidy the space before wrapping up our time and saying 
 goodbye.\nImpact\nIntergenerational playgroups give children a true inter-
 generational experience while learning patience\, kindness\, and how to ma
 ke new friends. Children will develop awareness of and relationships with 
 members of the community they would otherwise not meet.\nOur friends at Ha
 milton House benefit tremendously from the interaction with our children. 
 Residents in the memory care unit of Hamilton House will have a chance to 
 be around our energetic and humorous littles and offer their love and gent

 Hamilton House is a beautiful residential community in the heart of Cedarb
 urg directly across from the local middle school. They provide apartments 
 designed for independent and assisted living\, as well as memory care opti
 ons. We are partnering specifically with the residents in the memory care
