SUMMARY:Packing Diapers for Milwaukee Diaper Mission
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nOne in three U.S. families lack enough diapers t
 o keep a baby clean\, dry\, and healthy. Milwaukee Diaper Mission (MDM) b
 elieves diapers are a necessity\, not a luxury. In partnership with local 
 social service agencies\, MDM empowers families in need by providing a rel
 iable source of free diapers and period supplies.\n\nWe appreciate the ser
 vice that MDM is providing our communities and we want to help!\nActivitie
 s\nMDM has thousands of diapers that have been donated by community member
 s and partner organizations. KIC families will sign up for one-hour time s
 lots (time slots will be assigned based on availability). During that time
 \, they will count and package diapers to be distributed throughout the Mi
 lwaukee community. These diapers need to be wrapped into packages of 25 fo
 r easier monthly distribution.  Families will count out diapers and packa
 ge them with shrink wrap. The kids can also decorate and attach stickers t
 o give some extra joy and positivity to the receiving parents.\nPurpose\nK
 ids will use their service skills to help provide diapers for families who
  are struggling to afford diapers to keep their babies clean\, dry\, and h
 ealthy.\nImpact\nKids will see that serving others can be fun and that the
 y are capable of making a difference.\nWhen &amp\; Where\nSaturday\, July 
 8\n\n 	Time slot #1: 10-11 a.m.\n 	Time slot #2: 11:10-12:10 p.m.\n\nMilwa
 ukee Diaper Mission\n9600 S. Franklin Dr.\nFranklin\, WI 53132\n\n 	The wa
 rehouse is the last one on the east end of the building. This larger ware
 house will allow three families to safely work in the space at the same ti
 me.\n 	The area will be sanitized between each session. MDM leaders will b
 e present to guide you through the process.\n 	There is a designated play 
 area for younger children to enjoy while parents and older children partic
 ipate in the service project.\n 	Parking is available in the lot in front 
 of the building.\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: Six famili
 es total (three per session)\n\nAge: All ages are welcome! We just ask th
 at parents help with counting and/or packaging if needed.\n\nCost: Free. H
 owever\, if your child would like a leadership extension prior to the even
 t\, they could ask their neighbors and/or relatives to donate diapers and 
 bring them to the Diaper Mission.\n\nMaterials: All volunteers ages three 
 and over will need to wear a mask at all times within the building. Hand s
 anitizer will be provided.\n\nCancellations: Please contact Kitty Janas at
