SUMMARY:Packing Diapers for Milwaukee Diaper Mission
DESCRIPTION:This Project Is Full\nRegistration Closed\nOne in three U.S. fa
 milies lack enough diapers to keep a baby clean\, dry\, and healthy. Milw
 aukee Diaper Mission (MDM) believes diapers are a necessity\, not a luxury
 . In partnership with local social service agencies\, MDM empowers familie
 s in need by providing a reliable source of free diapers and period suppli
 es.\n\nWe appreciate the service that MDM is providing our communities and
  we want to help!\nActivities\nMDM has thousands of diapers that have been
  donated by community members and partner organizations. KIC families will
  sign up for one-hour time slots (time slots will be assigned based on ava
 ilability). During that time\, they will count and package diapers to be d
 istributed throughout the Milwaukee community. These diapers need to be wr
 apped into packages of 25 for easier monthly distribution.  Families will
  count out diapers and package them with shrink wrap. The kids can also de
 corate and attach stickers to give some extra joy and positivity to the re
 ceiving parents.\nPurpose\nKids will use their service skills to help prov
 ide diapers for families who are struggling to afford diapers to keep thei
 r babies clean\, dry\, and healthy.\nImpact\nKids will see that serving ot
 hers can be fun and that they are capable of making a difference.\nWhen &a

 me slot #2: 11:10 a.m.-12:10 p.m.\n\n\n\nMilwaukee Diaper Mission\n9600 S.
  Franklin Dr.\nFranklin\, WI 53132\n\n 	\n\n 	The warehouse is the last o
 ne on the east end of the building. This larger warehouse will allow three
  families to safely work in the space at the same time.\n 	The area will b
 e sanitized between each session. MDM leaders will be present to guide you
  through the process.\n 	There is a designated play area for younger child
 ren to enjoy while parents and older children participate in the service p
 roject.\n 	Parking is available in the lot in front of the building.\n\n\n
 \nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: Six families total (three pe
 r session)\n\nAge: All ages are welcome! We just ask that parents help wi
 th counting and/or packaging if needed.\n\nCost: Free. However\, if your c
 hild would like a leadership extension before the event\, they could ask t
 heir neighbors and/or relatives to donate diapers and bring them to the Di
