In partnership with the Museum of Wisconsin Art\, KIC fam ilies will use their artistic talents to create placemats with seasonal te xtures and colors for Community Projects for Seniors’ meal delivery on T hanksgiving Day. Families will use the materials provided to design these seasonal placemats. \nActivities\nFamilies will create texture rubbings a nd stamping on a “collaborative” canvas. We will cut placemats from th e final product designed by the children. These placemats will be delivere d by Community Projects for Seniors with hot Thanksgiving meals to seniors living in independent housing. Families are also highly encouraged to exp lore the museum and enjoy gallery activities!\nImpact\nThe placemats creat ed by the children will provide some light to community members receiving a hot Thanksgiving meal – demonstrating that they are loved!\n\nWhen &am p\; Where\nWednesday\, October 29 from 10-11:30 a.m. (drop-in during this timeframe)\nMuseum of Wisconsin Art\n205 Veterans Ave.\nWest Bend\, WI 530 95\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: None.
