SUMMARY:Mini-Makers at MOWA: Creating Fall Placemats for Seniors
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTeach our children how to use their creativity a
 s a superpower to uplift others! In partnership with the Museum of Wiscons
 in Art\, KIC families will use their artistic talents to create placemats 
 with seasonal textures and colors for Community Projects for Seniors’ me
 al delivery on Thanksgiving Day.\nActivities\nFamilies will create texture
  rubbings and stamping on a “collaborative” canvas. We will cut placem
 ats from the final product designed by the children. These placemats will 
 be delivered by Community Projects for Seniors with hot Thanksgiving meals
  to seniors living in independent housing. Families are also highly encour
 aged to explore the museum and enjoy gallery activities!\nImpact\nThe plac
 emats created by the children will provide some light to community members
  receiving a hot Thanksgiving meal – demonstrating that they are loved!\
 n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nWednesday\, October 30 from 10 a.m. to noon (drop-in
  activity during this timeframe)\nMuseum of Wisconsin Art\n205 Veterans Av
 e.\nWest Bend\, WI 53095\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipant Cap: Non
 e. Mini-Makers are on the last Wednesdays of the month and are open to the
  public.\nAge: There is no age limit on this event!\nCost: MOWA does have 
 an entry fee. However\, MOWA has generously offered us some free family pa
 sses to attend. Information about the passes will be provided via email af
 ter registration.\nMaterials: None. MOWA is providing all of the materials
