SUMMARY:Lunch Pack and Love with Just One More Ministry
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJust One More Ministry\, located in Glendale\, i
 s an organization that rescues excess food from area restaurants\, food su
 ppliers\, and caterers and repackages it for shelters\, food pantries\, an
 d community members in need. Inflation and rising grocery prices continue 
 to create challenges for our hurting neighbors\, and these lunches are eas
 y to distribute and are handed out as quickly as they are received. Just O
 ne More Ministry is currently distributing over 1\,400 bagged lunches a we
 ek!\n\nActivities\nYour family will assemble 20 lunch bags with a piece of
  fruit (orange/clementine\, banana\, or apple)\, snack (optional)\, and an
  inspirational note/care card (or whatever beautiful decorations your litt
 les wish to create).\nSeparately your family will make 20 sandwiches (pea
 nut butter and jelly or meat and cheese with no condiments) wrapped in a p
 lastic sandwich bag. The sandwich bags will be stacked inside an empty br
 ead bag so Just One More Ministry can easily freeze them.\n\nImpact\nKids 
 will gain awareness and understanding of how their own capabilities can he
 lp their community in need.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nYour family will complet
 e this project in your own home following food safety guidelines.\nDrop of
 f the packed lunches outside a KIC family home (Bayside\, Whitefish Bay\, 
 west side of Milwaukee - specific addresses will be provided after sign-up
 .) between 1-8 p.m. on Sunday\, Feb. 22. We will deliver all lunches to Ju
 st One More Ministry for distribution on Feb. 23.\n\nRegistration Informat
 ion\nParticipants: 25 family cap and all ages welcome\nCost: Dependent on
  what families buy for the bagged lunch supplies.\nMaterials: You will be
  responsible for supplying the following materials to complete 20 packed l
 unches:\n\n\n 	\n\n 	Approximately two loaves of bread\n 	Peanut butter an
 d jelly or meat and cheese\n 	Clementines/oranges\, bananas\, or apples\n 
 	Additional treat/snack (optional)\n 	Plastic sandwich bags\n 	Paper lunch
  bags\n 	Inspirational notes decorated by the kids\n\n\n\nQuestions: Plea

 event that circumstances change and you are no longer able to assist\, ple
 ase email rachel@kicmke.org.\nIn order to assure food safety in preparing
  food for the community in your own home\, all volunteers must agree to:\n
 \n 	\n\n 	Follow USDA guidelines to fully disinfect the surface prior to m
 eal preparation\n 	Follow the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture\, Trade 
 and Consumer Protection guidelines on washing hands with soap and water fo
 r at least 20 seconds\n 	Follow the WI DATCP rules on no bare hand contact
  with ready-to-eat foods ie. wear gloves or use tongs. When using disposab
 le gloves\, refer to these guidelines.\n 	To ensure health and safety in p
 reparing food for people outside of our own families\, we also ask that ev
 eryone two years of age and older wear a cloth face covering while prepari
