SUMMARY:Lunch Pack and Love
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJust One More Ministry\, located in Glendale\, i
 s an organization that rescues excess food from area restaurants\, food su
 ppliers\, and caterers and repackages them for shelters\, food pantries\, 
 and community members in need.\n\nInflation and rising grocery prices con
 tinue to disrupt the organization’s regular streams of food\, and they a
 re in need of additional support through packed bagged lunches. These lunc
 hes are easy to distribute and are handed out as quickly as they are recei
 ved. This is a helpful dinner option for kids if their housing lacks the a
 ppliances needed to heat and prepare food.\nActivities\nYour family will a
 ssemble 20 lunches including a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly or meat a
 nd cheese with no condiments) wrapped in a plastic sandwich bag\, a piece 
 of fruit (orange/clementine\, banana\, or apple)\, and an inspirational no
 te/care card (or whatever beautiful decorations your littles wish to creat
 e). If you would like to include an additional treat or snack\, feel free 
 though it is completely optional. Once you’ve assembled the lunch items\
 , place them all into a paper lunch bag. Sandwiches should remain separate
  from the other lunch elements. Just One More Ministry will be freezing th
 em prior to delivery to ensure health safety.\nPurpose\nKids will assist r
 esidents throughout the Greater Milwaukee community struggling with food i
 nsecurity.\n\nImpact\nKids will gain awareness and understanding of how th
 eir own capabilities can help their community in need.\n\nWhen &amp\; Wher
 e\nYour family will complete this project in your own home following food 
 safety guidelines.\nDrop off the packed lunches outside a KIC family home 
 in Bayside\, Whitefish Bay\, Bayview\, and the West Side of Milwaukee (spe
 cific addresses will be provided after sign-up) between 1-8 p.m. on Sunday
 \, Nov. 19. We will deliver all lunches to Just One More Ministry for dist
 ribution on Nov. 20.\nCan't make the November event? Pack lunches for our 
 December event.\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipants: 25 family cap a
 nd all ages welcome\nCost: Dependent on what families buy for the bagged 
 lunch supplies.\nMaterials: You will be responsible for supplying the fol
 lowing materials to complete 20 packed lunches:\n\n\n 	\n\n 	Approximately
  two loaves of bread\n 	Peanut butter and jelly or meat and cheese\n 	Clem
 entines/oranges\, bananas\, or apples\n 	Additional treat/snack (optional)
 \n 	Plastic sandwich bags\n 	Paper lunch bags\n 	Inspirational notes decor

 order to assure food safety in preparing food for the community in your ow
 n home\, all volunteers must agree to:\n\n 	\n\n 	Follow USDA guidelines t
 o fully disinfect the surface prior to meal preparation\n 	Follow the Wisc
 onsin Department of Agriculture\, Trade and Consumer Protection guidelines
  on washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds\n 	Follow th
 e WI DATCP rules on no bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods ie. wear 
 gloves or use tongs. When using disposable gloves\, refer to these guideli
 nes.\n 	To ensure health and safety in preparing food for people outside o
 f our own families\, we also ask that everyone two years of age and older 
 wear a cloth face covering while preparing the sandwiches.\n\n\n\nMore Inf
