DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJust One More Ministry\, located in Glendale\, i
 s an organization that rescues excess food from area restaurants\, food su
 ppliers\, and caterers and repackages them for shelters\, food pantries\, 
 and community members in need.\n\nInflation and rising grocery prices cont
 inue to disrupt the organization’s regular streams of food\, and they ar
 e in need of additional support through packed bagged lunches. These lunch
 es are easy to distribute and are handed out as quickly as they are receiv
 ed. This is a helpful dinner option for kids if their housing lacks the ap
 pliances needed to heat and prepare food. They are currently distributing 
 over 1\,400 lunches a week!\nActivities\nYour family will assemble 20 lunc
 hes including a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly or meat and cheese with 
 no condiments) wrapped in a plastic sandwich bag\, a piece of fruit (orang
 e/clementine\, banana\, or apple)\, and an inspirational note/care card (o
 r whatever beautiful decorations your littles wish to create). If you woul
 d like to include an additional treat or snack\, feel free though it is co
 mpletely optional. Once you’ve assembled the lunch items\, place them al
 l into a paper lunch bag. Sandwiches should remain separate from the other
  lunch elements. Just One More Ministry will be freezing them prior to del
 ivery to ensure health safety.\nImpact\nKids will gain awareness and under
 standing of how their own capabilities can help their community in need.\n
 \nWhen &amp\; Where\nYour family will complete this project in your own ho
 me following food safety guidelines.\nDrop off the packed lunches outside 
 a KIC family home in Bayside\, Whitefish Bay\, Bayview\, and the West Side
  of Milwaukee (specific addresses will be provided after sign-up) between 
 1-8 p.m. on Sunday\, March 17. We will deliver all lunches to Just One Mor
 e Ministry for distribution on March 18.\n\nRegistration Information\nPart
 icipants: 25 family cap and all ages welcome\nCost: Dependent on what fam
 ilies buy for the bagged lunch supplies.\nMaterials: You will be responsi
 ble for supplying the following materials to complete 20 packed lunches:\n
 \n\n 	\n\n 	Approximately two loaves of bread\n 	Peanut butter and jelly o
 r meat and cheese\n 	Clementines/oranges\, bananas\, or apples\n 	Addition
 al treat/snack (optional)\n 	Plastic sandwich bags\n 	Paper lunch bags\n

  rachel@kicmke.org.\nWaivers: In order to ensure meals are safe to be dis
 tributed throughout our community\, volunteers must meet specific requirem
 ents to be eligible to assemble the lunches. You must confirm that all sta
 tements below are true for you and anyone in your household where lunches 
 will be packed. \n\n\n 	\n\n 	1. Follow CDC guidelines to fully disinfect 
 the surface prior to meal preparation\n 	2. Follow the Wisconsin Departmen
 t of Agriculture\, Trade and Consumer Protection guidelines on washing han
 ds with soap and water for at least 20 seconds\n 	3. Follow the WI DATCP r
 ules on no bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods ie. wear gloves or us
 e tongs. When using disposable gloves\, refer to these guidelines.\n 	4. T
 o ensure health and safety in preparing food for people outside of our own
  families\, we also ask that everyone two years of age and older wear a cl
 oth face covering while preparing the sandwiches.\n\n\n\n\nOur Partner\nLe
