SUMMARY:Intergenerational Playgroups at Hamilton House Senior Living
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nBring your little one(s) to Hamilton House for a
  special intergenerational experience where children and older adults can 
 play\, learn and connect.\nOur monthly 45-minute playgroups offer a welcom
 ing\, relaxed environment for young children to meet new friends while bri
 ghtening the day of our grandfriends at Hamilton House. Through simple\, e
 ngaging activities\, children have the opportunity to learn patience and r
 espect for older adults\, how joy is contagious\, and to build social skil
 ls while interacting with people of different ages and abilities.\nThe rel
 ationships that grow through these playgroups make this experience so mean
 ingful. By participating regularly\, children and residents have the chanc
 e to become familiar with one another and look forward to seeing each othe
 r each month. Our grandfriends truly delight in the smiles and energy our 
 children bring from just being themselves.\n\nActivities \nEach playgroup
  follows a familiar structure to help both children and residents feel com
 fortable and engaged.\nWe begin with a hello song\, followed by:\n\n\n 	\n
 \n 	- Story\n 	- Simple craft\n 	- Themed activity\n 	- Free play\n 	- Goo
 dbye song\n\n\n\nEach month will feature a fun new theme and activities de
 signed to encourage interaction between children\, caregivers and Hamilton
  House residents.\n\nImpact\nIntergenerational playgroups boost the social
  and emotional health for everyone involved by fostering empathy in childr
 en\, reducing isolation in seniors\, and strengthening a sense of belongin
 g\, purpose\, and community spirit.\nOur friends at Hamilton House benefit
  tremendously from the interaction with our children. Residents in the mem
 ory care unit of Hamilton House will have a chance to be around our energe
 tic and humorous littles and offer their love and gentle care for them.\n\

 0-11 a.m.\n\n 	\n\n 	- Friday\, September 18\n 	- Friday\, October 16\n 	-
  Friday\, November 20\n 	- Friday\, December 18\n\n\n\nPlease Note: We are
  encouraging participants to sign up for the entire session if possible. I
 f there are only a few dates you can make in the session\, please indicate
  your availability during registration. Signing up for a session helps the
  residents see familiar faces and helps to ensure participation in our pla

 ouse is a beautiful residential community in the heart of Cedarburg direct
 ly across from the local middle school. They provide apartments designed f
 or independent and assisted living\, as well as memory care options. We ar
 e partnering specifically with the residents in the memory care unit. Plea
