SUMMARY:Helping Paws: Bunny Hay Feeders
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nThis project will put little hands to work to su
 pport the bunnies at the Wisconsin Humane Society! Together\, we will tran
 sform toilet paper tubes into hay feeders for the rabbits. These hay feede
 rs will also be used by the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center located there.\
 nThe feeders aren’t just fun to make–they’re important for bunny hea
 lth. Rabbits need constant access to things to chew in order to keep their
  teeth strong and properly trimmed\, since their teeth are always growing.
  In addition\, these cute feeders will make mealtime more enriching and en
 gaging for our furry friends\, while stimulating their natural instincts t
 o forage.\n\nActivities\nWe will kick off our time together with a story t
 o understand the importance of helping animals. Next\, we will get to work
  making bunny hay feeders out of upcycled toilet paper tubes. This project
  is ideal for our youngest kids. They will practice scissor skills by maki
 ng a fringe on each end of the toilet paper tube and then stuffing it full
  of Timothy Hay.\nWe also invite all of our attending families to consider
  bringing an item from the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wish List to donat
 e! Your kids will love shopping for the animals.\n\nImpact\nThis project o
 ffers a wonderful way for our young volunteers to practice kindness\, buil
 d empathy\, learn about animal care\, and make a difference in the communi
 ty–one bunny at a time! It also supports the Humane Society by providing
  a generous supply of enrichment items\, easing the cost of care\, staff t
 ime\, and showing the animals a little extra love while they wait for thei
