SUMMARY:Gardening for Good: Hoop House Helpers
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTake care of Kinship Community Food Center's (Ki
 nship) urban farm hoop houses and help them harvest healthy flowers\, frui
 ts\, and veggies! Kinship's hoop houses provide fresh and local food to th
 ose in need. Volunteers will cultivate\, plant\, water\, and harvest fresh
  produce that will be provided to families facing food insecurity in the a
 rea.\nActivities\nKids will be gardening inside the hoop houses and planti
 ng\, harvesting\, weeding\, moving soil\, and all things related to the ge
 neral maintenance of the site.\nPurpose\nKids will have the opportunity to
  get dirty\, tend and explore the garden\, and harvest food to donate to K
 inship Community Food Center.\n\nImpact\nEnjoy a fun\, hands-on experience
  gardening while learning about food insecurity in our local community. P
 lus a little gardening and physical activity is healthy too!\n\nWhen &amp\
 ; Where\nThursday\, September 26 from 9-11 a.m.\nThe hoop houses are locat
 ed at the Maglio Tomato Building\, 4287 N Port Washington Road\, Milwaukee
 \, WI 53212. Please park in the lot on the North side of the building and 
 walk through the fence to the big hoop houses.\n\nRegistration Information
 \nParticipants: 12 families or small groups\nAges: All ages welcome\nCost:
  Free\nMaterials: Be ready to get dirty! In addition\, please be prepared 
 to bring a water bottle\, closed-toed and water-proof shoes\, gardening gl
 oves\, sunscreen\, and anything else you and your family may need for a tw
