SUMMARY:Gardening for Good: Hoop House Helpers
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTake care of Kinship Community Food Center's (Ki
 nship) urban farm hoop houses and help them harvest healthy flowers\, frui
 ts\, and veggies! Kinship's hoop houses provide fresh and local food to th
 ose in need. Volunteers will cultivate\, plant\, water\, and harvest fresh
  produce that will be provided to families facing food insecurity in the a
 rea.\nActivities\nKids will be gardening inside the hoop houses and planti
 ng\, harvesting\, weeding\, moving soil\, and all things related to the ge
 neral maintenance of the site. Please prepare for an indoor/outdoor experi
 ence.\nImpact\nEnjoy a fun\, hands-on experience gardening while learning 
 about food insecurity in our local community. Plus a little gardening and 
 physical activity is healthy too!\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nThursday\, October
  24 from 9-10:30 a.m.\nMaglio Tomato Building\n4287 N. Port Washington Rd\
 nMilwaukee\, WI 53212\nPlease park in the lot on the North side of the bui
 lding and walk through the fence to the big hoop houses.\n\nRegistration I
 nformation\nParticipants: 12 families or small groups\nAges: All ages welc
 ome\nCost: Free\nMaterials: Be ready to get dirty! Dress in layers as the 
 hoop houses tent do be hotter than outside temperatures. In addition\, ple
 ase be prepared to bring a water bottle\, closed-toed and water-proof shoe
 s\, gardening gloves\, sunscreen\, and anything else you and your family m
