SUMMARY:Gardening for Good: Hoop House Helpers
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTake care of Kinship Community Food Center's (Ki
 nship) urban farm hoop houses this summer season so they can harvest healt
 hy flowers\, fruits\, and veggies! Kinship's hoop houses provide fresh and
  local food to those in need. Volunteers will cultivate\, plant\, water\, 
 and harvest fresh produce that will be provided to families facing food in
 security in the area.\nActivities\nKids will be gardening inside the hoop 
 houses and planting\, harvesting\, weeding\, moving soil\, and all things 
 related to the general maintenance of the site.\nPurpose\nKids will have t
 he opportunity to get dirty\, tend and explore the garden\, and harvest fo
 od to donate to Kinship Community Food Center.\n\nImpact\nEnjoy a fun\, ha
 nds-on experience gardening while learning about food insecurity in our lo
 cal community. Plus a little gardening and physical activity is healthy t
 oo!\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nSaturday\, June 22 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.\nThe hoo
 p houses are located at the Maglio Tomato Building\, 4287 N Port Washingto
 n Road\, Milwaukee\, WI 53212. Please park in the lot on the North side of
  the building and walk through the fence to the big hoop houses.\n\nRegist
 ration Information\nParticipants: Twelve families or small groups\nAges: A
 ll ages welcome\nCost: Free\nMaterials: Be ready to get dirty! In addition
 \, please be prepared to bring a water bottle\, closed-toed and water-proo
 f shoes\, gardening gloves\, sunscreen\, and anything else you and your fa
 mily may need for a two-hour event.\nQuestions: Please contact Senta Metz
