 uilding in Milwaukee! Volunteers will cultivate\, plant\, water\, and harv
 est fresh produce such as tomatoes\, zucchini\, beans\, and kale that will
  be provided to shoppers at Kinship Community Food Center. There are curre
 ntly 11 “hoop houses” ready to provide fresh local food to those in ne
 ed!\nActivities\nKids will be gardening inside the “hoop houses” and p
 lanting\, harvesting\, weeding\, moving soil\, and all things related to t
 he general maintenance of the site.\nPurpose\nKids will have the opportuni
 ty to get dirty\, tend and explore the garden\, and harvest food to donate
  to Kinship Community Food Center.\n\nImpact\nEnjoy a fun\, hands-on exper
 ience gardening while learning about food insecurity in our local communit
 y.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nSaturday\, Aug. 26 from 10-11:30 a.m.\nThe “hoo
 p houses” are located at the Maglio Tomato Building\, 4287 N Port Washin
 gton Road\, Milwaukee\, WI 53212. Please park in the lot on the North sid
 e of the building and walk through the fence to the big “hoop houses.”

 istration Information\nParticipants: Five families and all ages welcome\nC
 ost: Free\nMaterials: Dress in layers as “hoop houses” tend to be hott
 er than outside temperatures. Be ready to get dirty! In addition\, please 
 be prepared to bring a water bottle\, closed-toed shoes\, and sunscreen.\n
