DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nJoin Kids Impact Community to help Groundwork M
 ilwaukee prepare their gardens at the urban farm “hoop houses” in Glen
 dale! Volunteers will cultivate\, plant\, water\, and harvest fresh produc
 e such as tomatoes\, zucchini\, beans\, and kale that will be provided to 
 shoppers at Kinship Community Food Center. Groundwork Milwaukee collaborat
 es with Kinship Community Food Center to provide food systems in the Milwa
 ukee area. There are currently 11 “hoop houses” ready to provide fresh
  local food to those in need!\nActivities\nKids will be gardening inside t
 he “hoop houses” and planting\, harvesting\, weeding\, moving soil\, a
 nd all things related to the general maintenance of the site.\nPurpose\nKi
 ds will have the opportunity to get dirty\, tend and explore the garden\, 
 and harvest food to donate to Kinship Community Food Center.\n\nImpact\nEn
 joy a fun\, hands-on experience gardening while learning about food insecu
 rity in our local community.\n\nWhen &amp\; Where\nThursday\, July 6 from 
 10-11:30 a.m.\nThe “hoop houses” are located at the Maglio Tomato Buil
 ding\, 4287 N Port Washington Road\, Milwaukee\, WI 53212. Please park in
  the lot on the North side of the building and walk through the fence to t
 he big “hoop houses.”\n\nRegistration Information\nParticipants: Five 
 families and all ages welcome\nCost: Free\nMaterials: Dress in layers as 
 “hoop houses” tend to be hotter than outside temperatures. Be ready to
  get dirty! In addition\, please be prepared to bring a water bottle\, clo
 sed-toed shoes\, and sunscreen.\nQuestions: Please contact Annie Turim at
