Unfortunately\, our society has many negative st ereotypes about people with differing abilities. Nearly one in four Americ ans lives with a disability. It is important that we teach our children at an early age to treat everyone with kindness\, love\, and dignity.\nKIC i s partnering with the organization Life Navigators to host a game night wh ere individuals and families from both organizations will come together to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate all abilities!\nActivities\n\n \nKIC families will join our friends at Life Navigators for a family game night. Everyone will be engaged in different types of board games or card games allowing us to get to know each other and celebrate all abilities.\n \nEveryone will share in a pizza dinner and dessert during the event. We w ould like to encourage families to bring a game to donate to Life Navigato rs so they can continually provide new and different game options for thei r consumers.
