SUMMARY:Donation Drive to Support People Experiencing Homelessness
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nWant to help those experiencing homelessness in 
 the Milwaukee area? Collect items from around the house (make sure to clea
 n them first) or buy new items to donate. \n\nJunior Leader Skylar is a pa
 rt of Girl Scout Troop 1375 and is organizing this drive to support Street
  Angels\, an organization that helps those experiencing homelessness in Mi
 lwaukee County. \nActivities\nYou and your child can collect items from ar
 ound the house (make sure to clean them first) or buy new items that are n
 eeded. Consider putting your child in charge of recruiting family and frie
 nds to help compile items to donate.\n\nYou can also donate directly by pu
 rchasing through our Amazon Wishlist.\n\nItems Needed:\n\n 	- Blankets\n 	
 - Adult hats\, gloves\, scarves\n 	- Winter jackets/coats (not currently a
 ccepting women’s jackets)\n 	- Winter boots\n 	- Hand/toe/foot warmers\n
  	- Thermal tops and bottoms\n 	- Casual shirts/sweatshirts/hoodies (M–X
 XXL)\n 	- Sleeping bags\n 	- Tents (four person max) and tarps\n 	- Sleepi

  Where\nFebruary 9-16\n\nDrop off at KIC Leader homes in Wauwatosa (near t
 he zoo) or Glendale (near Bayshore) anytime during the dates above. Look f
 or the KIC bin by the front door. Specific addresses will be sent out via

 nStreet Angels is a mobile outreach organization dedicated to assisting in
 dividuals in ending their homelessness by providing dignified services\, a
 dvocacy\, connections to critical resources\, and hope.\n\nJunior Leader P
 rogram\nKIC invites more youth leaders (ages 9-14) to create service oppor
 tunities to engage their peers and work on solutions in the community. If 
 you know of a motivated youth who has an idea to make a positive contribut
 ion to our community\, please have them learn more and complete a Junior L
 eader application.
