DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nDeliver a free\, hot-and-hearty\, ready-to-eat m
 eal to low-income seniors in Milwaukee on Christmas day. Community Project
 s for Seniors Holiday Meal Program delivers meals on holidays\, including 
 Easter\, Christmas\, and Thanksgiving to approximately 4\,000 low-income s
 eniors living in subsidized apartment buildings.\nA kid-designed holiday p
 lacemat is delivered with each meal. Click here if your family would like 
 to join us in making placemats as well!  \nIndividuals who sign up for a
  meal usually don’t have family in the area (or at all)\, don’t have a
  place to go for the holidays (or access to transportation)\, can’t easi
 ly walk or drive (due to weather and/or a disability)\, can’t afford to 
 buy a holiday meal or find it physically challenging to cook. Meal recipie
 nts report that they love their holiday meals\; not just the yummy food\, 
 but also the loving experience volunteers provide them.\n\nActivities\nSte
 p 1: One adult volunteer must register and attend a Volunteer Orientation 
 Session with Community Projects for Seniors. Register here.\nStep Two:  Y
 ou will be given a specific time on Christmas Day to pick up your meals at
  Oak Creek High School. The ready-to-eat meals will be loaded into your ca
 r. You will then drive to the assigned apartment building where your famil
 y will deliver the meals to each registered senior on the list. Some of th
 e seniors may wish to chat and engage. Bring warm smiles and sunshine alon
 g with the meals!\n\nImpact\nYour kids will create human connections\, hel
 p fight loneliness\, and build community by brightening the lives of older
  adults who need some extra love.\nWhen &amp\; Where\nThe Volunteer Orient

 	\n\n 	- Saturday\, Nov. 2 at 10-11 a.m.\n 	- Thursday\, Nov. 7 at 4-5 p.m
 .\n 	- Saturday\, Nov. 9 at 10-11 a.m.\n 	- Tuesday\, Nov. 12 at 1-2 p.m.\
 n 	- Wednesday\, Dec. 4 at 4-5 p.m.\n 	- Saturday\, Dec. 7 at 10-11 a.m.\n
