 ot a drop off event.)\n\nJoin Kids Impact Community for an all-ages\, kid-
 focused morning of learning and service in celebration of Martin Luther Ki
 ng Jr. Day\, including a special guest speaker from Kinship Community Food
  Center\, story time\, music\, movement\, and various on-site service proj
 ects. Together we will bring MLK's National Day of Service to life in a wa
 y that even the youngest children can understand.\n\nActivities\nOn this N
 ational Day of Service\, we will engage our children as dynamic and change
 -making citizens. After gathering together to learn about Dr. Martin Luthe
 r King Jr.\, we will get to work on a variety of service projects.\n\n\n 	
 \n\n 	- Decorate care cards and assemble on-the-go winter hygiene kits for
  Mr. Bob's Under the Bridge\n 	- Embellish paper bags with positive messag
 es and put together snack packs for Our Next Generation\n 	- Pack cancer c
 are kits for Aurora Health Care Cancer Clinics\n 	- Design reusable grocer
 y bags for Kinship Community Food Center\n 	- Create “Congratulations on
  Your Adoption” cards for Kids Matter Inc.\n 	- Read picture books in th
 e book corner about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other big ideas\n 	- Pa
 rticipate in additional service project stations that capture your interes
 t\n\n\n\nEngage your kids of all ages:\nTo help engage your kids before an
 d during the project\, we invite your family to:\n1) Choose and purchase i
 tems to bring for our winter hygiene kits and snack packs. A sign-up link 
 will be included in your confirmation email.\n2) Donate a NEW stuffed anim
 al that will be presented during an upcoming adoption! (think average-size
 d classic stuffed animals like bears\, dogs\, cats\, etc). \n\nPlease note
 : bringing an item to donate is completely optional and not required to at
 tend or participate. \n\nLeadership Opportunity for Kids ages 9+: This yea
 r\, we are once again in need of junior leaders to help with set-up the Sa
 turday before and assist attendees at a variety of project stations the da
 y of the event. If your child is ready for a little extra responsibility\,

 pecial extension to our program\, we invite kids ages 12+ and their caregi
 vers to distribute the assembled winter hygiene kits with Mr. Bob’s Unde

 e hands can make a big impact on others by spreading Dr. King’s message
