DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nHunger is a pressing challenge in our community.
  In Wisconsin\, 1 in 8 children experiences hunger\, and The Dept. of Publ
 ic Instruction estimates that there are about 11\,000 children who suffer 
 from food insecurity in Waukesha County alone.\n\nJoin Sussex Outreach Ser
 vices for a meaningful storytime centered on food insecurity\, curated for
  our young changemakers (ages 0–12). \nActivities\nChildren and caregiv
 ers will enjoy a read-aloud of Maddi's Fridge to help everyone understan
 d the importance of the lunches they will be packing. Together\, the famil
 ies will assemble bagged lunches that include:\n\n 	- A sandwich (meat and
  cheese slices\, no condiments\, wrapped in a plastic ziplock)\n 	- A piec
 e of fruit (orange/clemetine\, banana\, or apple)\n 	- Chips\n 	- A treat\
 n 	- An inspirational note\n\nImpact\nThis project will support residents 
 across Greater Milwaukee who are struggling with hunger and help children 
 learn about food insecurity in an age-appropriate way. We will show kids t
 hat their small hands and big hearts can make a real difference in thei

 ects come to life. However\, we understand illness and emergencies do come

 AP so we can fill your spot.\nOur Partner\nSussex Outreach Services is the
  social ministry arm of the Cooperating Churches of Sussex (CCOS). They se
 rved 452 families\, 1079 unique individuals in 2024. They help their clien
 ts with food\, emergency financial assistance\, preventive health programm
 ing\, resources and referrals.  They serve families and individuals in th
 e Hamilton School District\, which includes Sussex\, the Village of Lisbon
 \, Lannon\, and parts of Merton\, Lisbon\, Butler\, and Menomonee Falls. L
