SUMMARY:Birthday Buddies for Kids Matter Inc.
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nHelp kids in foster care celebrate their birthda
 ys! Most kids look forward to their birthday all year. However\, for the m
 ore than 2\,000 children in foster care in Milwaukee County\, birthdays ar
 e often forgotten. In times of upheaval\, your family can help spread joy 
 by assembling birthday kits filled with everything a child needs to celebr
 ate their special day.\nKids Matter Inc.\, an organization that supports k
 inship and foster children\, will distribute all the birthday kits.\n\nAct
 ivities\nWe will start the day with a fun story and then decorate special 
 birthday crowns and design birthday cards to include in our kits. Then\, k
 ids and their caregivers will work to pick out cake mix\, frosting\, sprin
 kles\, balloons\, candles\, and a gift.\nA huge thank you to Cream City Re
 porting\, LLC for their generous toy donation. And a big shoutout to Herb 
 Kohl Philanthropies Homegrown Grant and the Greater Milwaukee Association 
 of Realtors for helping fund this project.\n\nImpact\nKids will learn how 
 to help support other kids going through a difficult time. They will gain 
 an understanding of how a small act of giving can have a big impact.\nWhen

 Kids Matter Inc.: Kids Matter is an organization that supports kinship and
  foster children. Nearly 100 children in Milwaukee County are removed from
  their homes each month because they are deemed unsafe\, according to Chil
 dren’s Wisconsin. Kids Matter Inc. believes that every child needs someo
 ne in their corner. Through staff and volunteers\, Kids Matter makes sure 
 that children and their foster families get the support they need. Learn m
